Mrs. Harkless's 5th grade science classes created sedimentary rocks today. They used the principles of erosion, friction, heat and compression in this fun and messy lab.
Hommel's amazing administrators are at it again! Mr. Seals and Ms. Beedle will meet individuality with every 3rd, 4th and 5th grade student to help them set personal goals for STAAR.
We’re excited to invite our Hommel families to join us for the Cowtown 5K Race for Kids!
Students can register for $10 and will receive a free pair of tennis shoes (handed out at school), a free race shirt, and a medal on race day. Parents and family members are also welcome to join the race for $25 and will receive a free race shirt and a medal on race day.
This is a fun and healthy way to show our Hommel spirit, come together as a family, and run in support of our students. Registration deadline is January 22, so don’t wait! Let’s lace up our shoes and run together!
