Principal - Jacob Seals

Hello Hommel Family,

My name is Jacob Seals, and I am the Assistant Principal here at Hommel Elementary. I am thrilled to continue serving this outstanding community of students, parents, teachers, staff, and volunteers.  I earned my Bachelor of Music Education degree from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2009 and my Master of Education in Educational Leadership degree from the University of North Texas in 2016. I have been privileged to serve the Everman community since 2011; before that, I was a choral director in Oklahoma. 

I believe that part of educating students is to assist them in developing curiosity, love, and passion for learning.  Every student has been given a unique set of interests, talents, and abilities that will be drawn upon each day to grow them into successful citizens.  

On a personal note, I moved to Texas thirteen years ago when I married my wife, Spring.  She teaches piano in Ft. Worth and has been my biggest advocate and encourager.  Together we enjoy traveling, hiking, going to concerts, playing music, and spoiling our dog, niece and nephews.
